Bio:

Dr. Regan worked for nine years as a reporter-producer with KWWL-TV (NBC affiliate in Waterloo, Iowa) where he produced a number of news magazines. He also served on the staff of The Dallas Morning News. Dr. Regan won one of 15 Gannett Foundation fellowships to attend a journalism workshop on teaching at Indiana University. In 2001, Dr. Regan worked as a writer for KOMO-TV in Seattle, Washington. In 1999, he participated in the Institute for Journalism Excellence, serving on the staff of the Charlotte (N.C.) Observer. He teaches reporting classes in both broadcast and print; he also teaches introduction to mass media, and senior seminar. Dr. Regan, who is chair of the journalism department, is adviser to OWU's student-run radio station, WSLN-FM.
